I live on long island(in NY), and would love an entry-level coding opportunity in the area. Obviously I read HN, and I'm always reading and learning more about technology while dabbling with languages. For example, today I've been writing utility scripts in powershell( http://is.gd/dRJWZ ). I've played with PHP, Android development, Ruby.. heck, even a little security exploitation in assembly. The list goes on. I started by writing in C, and it's fair to say that's the language I'm most comfortable with. I may not have a Ph.D. in astrophysics like that other guy, but I really do think I could contribute somewhere given the chance. |
