I think there's a massive problem in recent times of an over-zealous focus on procedures and the "how" of a particular process. I think process-driven management results in micro-managing tyrants, over-stressed, over-worked employees, poor efficiency, and poor results. We need to focus on results. Who cares about the process, as long as it works, and the people doing it are happy? |
