What about apps that are slow to update or relatively abandoned? Guidelines are all well and good and I assume everyone here thinks they should be followed. The problem is though that not everyone will update on time. Take for example when the iPhone 6 and 6+ first came out. It took my banking app until the 6s came out to finally update their app to fill the screen. Now granted those apps weren't unusable, they just looked wrong. On the iPhone X with the notch there is a very real possibility that until they are updated they may have unusable functionality. |
