I work in tech here and I suspect it's becuase our early heavy hitters feel from grace: Motorola, Groupon, etc. Imagine if Motorola was first to have a major smart phone get popular like the razr instead of Apple. Seatlle has amazon and microsoft.....chicago has nothing comparable I think. |
