A lot of air purifiers come with activates carbon pre-filters that should take care of most volatile organic compounds. I'm not sure how effective they are in practice but this paper suggests that activated carbon is used in aqueous solutions to remove PAH; https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26820781 So you're probably better off than not buying one of these things |
