The way the situation is evolving is that they are NOT 'our' electronics. We think we are buying them to own them, but in reality what it gets you is the right to use the device only for as long manufacturer wants, and only in a manner deemed appropriate by the manufacturer. It's more than a fight about tinkering or repairing, it's a fight about ownership. |
