Well, I find it unlikely that a Chinese, Mexican or African-American would have been surprised that a high ranking law enforcement officer was openly supportive of the people terrorising their communities in those days. To be honest I'm a little surprised that a Jewish person would be that naive either, particularly a lawyer that helped found the ADL. |
