I worked in this field a bit at Baylor. There are those who want to model the 'hardware' down to every complexity and those who want to figure out the 'software' that emerges from the physical hardware. The groups communicate but are fairly divided. Does it tune itself or is static? It definitely tunes, but it can be meaningful to the algorithm or ignored. |
