Sorry I can't answer your question, but I'd bet money it's not a coincidence.. Scheduled births (whether induced or c-section) are prevalent enough that people will just avoid "yucky" dates even if they're not superstitious. Anecdotally, I went in with my wife for an ultrasound on a Friday the 13th and it was definitely less crowded that day. Rest assured, no Rosemary's Baby detected, nor any heart defects, etc. I just benefited from not having to take a seat in the waiting room :). |
