| Hello, Reaching out here because I'm sure other folks have had this problem as well. I'm a Senior engineer at a fast growing Bay Area startup, that I've worked at since the company was founded. I'm looking for a Mental Health professional/Performance Coach to help me navigate the ins and outs of my personal life, figure out ways to cope with the stress of building this company, and help me develop the skills that I need to level up as both a leader and engineer. There are tons of websites that have listings of therapists and other mental health professionals, but I've seen many therapists over the last few years and haven't been able to find what I'm really looking for. What I'm looking for: 1. Someone who can empathize with a founder mentality. 2. Someone who can help develop leadership skills in a person who has generally been introverted. 3. Someone who can help develop skills that lead to better work/life balance. 4. Someone who has spent time working with engineers and tech professionals, and deeply understands the pressure that comes with building a tech startup. 5. Someone who may have worked or can empathize with the additional pressure that comes with being an immigrant or the child of immigrant parents. Curious to hear from you all. Thank you |
