i'm not sure if regulation is needed at this point. I'm not a fan of government interference. Unionization is one option. somehow enforcing certification is another to level the playing field (aside from certifications already being a racket). CS degrees are virtually worthless by the time you graduate... experience matters, but less and less with each passing technological rotation. Experience matters more so in management or general leadership. Maybe look to start moving in that direction? |
