The first version of GPS sounded crazy. The H-bomb sounded crazy. Nearly everything we have in our daily lives now sounded crazy 200 years ago. But, with clear details on paper, both GPS and the H-bomb projects were high payoff, low risk and not crazy at all. "Sounds crazy" is, uh, a crazy way to evaluate projects. |
