I also disagree with the term 'disaster'. That implies accidental, unanticipated, or maybe even just oops. If you were to expand it to 'disaster capitalism', profiting (exploiting) the misfortune of others while intentionally making things worse, then I'd be in agreement. A hurricane is a disaster. The US healthcare racket is a deliberate snafu. |
