A lot of people get wrapped up in a desired title and recognition, but the confidence Jeffrey had to know that his work would speak for itself is instructive. Additionally, it's not like it was instantaneous; it took 5 years to get that rectification. |

If you are at a low level, you move to Facebook/Google and you come back to Microsoft the next year. The world is filled with people who are waiting for a raise and will not get it in the next decade.
