It's not very surprising. It's very simple. They serve people who benefit as long as there is conflict. If there is conflict: - there will be multiple groups who want to defeat each other - you can sell weapons to the richest of those groups - you can sell weapons to third party governments (who use money collected forcefully from the public) to "fix the problems" caused by the conflict |
