I know people in most cities with a similar setup, if often a bit more specific to their hobby. I have a similar setup for old deadbug 'tronics and audio gear. Between making geek friends and hackerspaces, most people in the industrialized world have access to this stuff on a reasonable budget with a bit of effort.
