It seems like it is quite different, you actually change your code to listen with NGINX unit.

I came to ask the same question. The landing page is terrible it says pretty much nothing.

this is an Envoy competitor. If my reading is right, they want to jump on the Istio bandwagon (https://istio.io/docs/concepts/what-is-istio/overview.html) as another data plane option.
