Obviously AI could be used to kill people (see last episode of Black Mirror season 3), but can we possibly do about it? Tell people to not research AI? Good luck with that. I hope some of that $600b in defense spending is being used to counter any sort of AI killer robot threat. But I do think the threat is overblown. AI is pretty damn underdeveloped right now. |
