SAML doesn't get enough love. Big big companies want to use your software but really need to use their existing SAML-compatible identity provider. When you don't support it they'll move on to someone who can. Conversely, if your organization has a SAML-compatible IdP you get to work with a vast sea of compatible software without really having to think about the integration. Exchange metadata URLs, maybe some URL templates, and you're done. |
