It should come as no surprise that we can build machines that can harm us even destroy us. One of the reasons AI was developed was to research what intelligence is. The point being, we do not understand intelligence, so how is it that we will create a super intelligence that will conquer us? This is just an old heaven fantasy: One day we will be in a world that is just like this one only it will not contain the bad parts because super smarts will not allow them. That is just nonsense, and so are the fears and beliefs surrounding AI. |
