The AGI threat? I believe so. The AI as in a drone with ability to profile an enemy and shoot them without human intervention? Yes. Why? We don't have AGI and so far we are not getting significantly closer to it in spite of the hype. But an autonomous tank, drone or even watchtowers are technologically possible for quite a while. An army of drones who can shoot without calling home is the imminent threat. Not SkyNet. IMHO. |
