One quirk of Mac OS flat design - i can never find the "contacts" icon - very odd. This is one of the more skeumorphic designs still, too. I guess just the dull brown without much color, easy to overlook.
I'm intrigued; what's your use-case as to locating an application file by its icon? I never find myself doing this (Launchpad > "cont" > ENTER is my preferred route).
