What might Bruce Schneier be thinking of that the EFF, Liberty, Privacy International, etc... are currently not doing? In some sense, it seems like this might be solved "generationally", once the majority of elected representatives are "natively" computer-literate. Based on the average age of politicians, that might take 30-40 years. |
