They're probably already damaged badly enough from the lack of sleep in peacetime that they'd underperform on any less during an active operation. This is like giving your sailors food poisoning every week to make them tougher. You just make them weaker instead. And when the time comes, you don't get soldiers capable of eating rotten food. You just get weak people. |
