Not sure if trolling, but: I'm using an open source license plate recognition system (OPENALPR), taking the produced registration number, and THEN querying the (yes, closed source) records database via web scraping. All tools used to achieve this, bar where the records are kept, are open source (openalpr, cheerio, node-horseman etc). |
