Very true. The media cares about making money first and foremost, so if they see a way to vilify somebody for ratings...

Shkreli knowingly played into this in full, so he's not exactly a victim when he managed his fame playing a "heel".

He played it up for sure. He seems like he'd be an annoying guy to spend time with, but he hardly deserves "most hated person in America."
