Hype in tech is terrible. If a technology gets an unusual amount of hype, it's a sign that you should wait a few years before you consider adopting it. Real consensus about a specific technology stack takes at least a couple of years to build up. If a tech product becomes popular very quickly, it is purely because of its superficial qualities - Often at the expense of finer details. |
