The best "app" I've tried is a digital recorder and a metronome. My process: Play slowly until you think you've nailed it. Listen to the recording, realize you didn't. Fix the parts that sound bad. Repeat until you actually nail it. Increase the metronome by 10%. Repeat until you're slightly faster than performance speed. Back off and playing at performance speed will sbe easy. |
