On the RX8 at least, if you hold the gas pedal to the floor while cranking, it disables the fuel injectors. No need to pull fuses.
* Foot to floor, crank for 10 sec,
* let it rest for 30 sec to cool off the starter,
* foot to floor and start to crank, pull your foot off the gas pedal. |
