If we take this approach, then we should raise the taxes on the rich immensely. When they complain, we'll point out that they are richer than John D Rockefeller! How can they possibly complain about their lot in life after that case winning argument? (Also, by spreading the wealth more evenly, society would likely progress faster. Less solid gold iPhones, more standard iPhones. Less Bugatti Veryons, more Tesla Model 3s.) |
