My read is a bit more succinct: "We value people who are different, but, we don't talk about what makes us different." I am not good at hints, subtleties or reading between lines. Behaving properly in such a nuanced circumstance is really a non-starter for me and I'd rather disconnect completely than walk through that type of minefield. |
