Some good points but 1.6MM/year pre tax, 840k/year after tax / 740k after expenses not living somewhere nice total comp? That's roughly what you'd need with an 8% return to get to 3MM in 3 years. They pay well but that sounds pretty far fetched. I could see 300k/year pre tax, 185k/year after tax / 85k after expenses not living somewhere nice. After 3 years at an 8% return that'd be roughly 350k... Not 3 million. If you're getting promoted regularly you might be able to hit 3MM in 15 years, 10 if promotions went faster and you lived super cheap with 8 roommates. |
