Most of the fee goes to the issuer, the part Visa/MasterCard earn is quite small. AMEX of course earns a bit more due to the nature of a three party scheme. Edit: 0.02% - 0.05% of the transaction is usually the scheme fee that goes to Visa/MasterCard. |
