As a side note, has anyone noticed that UEFI (and GPT) were forced down our throats just around the time everyone would have a 128, 256, or 512 Gb SSD boot/system disk? All the hassle for accessing more than 2.2Tb on a boot disk when noone would have such device in use (GPT on non-bootable disks is of course perfectly accessible on most OS's without any need for an UEFI firmware). |
