The best way to look at it is instead of scheduling your work and fitting in relaxing/hobbies on the side, pick a few high-happiness activities and make /them/ your schedule. E.g., I will play soccer every Tuesday evening. Commit yourself to always doing them and try to not feel tempted to skip, or feel guilty for doing them. This will significantly increase your ability to feel motivated working at other times (not just increased productivity, but ability to work longer hours other days) |
