Do not adopt an all-or-nothing approach. All-or-nothing thinking is a highly destructive thought pattern. Simply weigh the returns at the margin: ex.. If I put in 1 more hour of work today I boost my work output by 10% but piano time decreases by 100% or social time decreases by 33% etc. Then, just make the most reasonable decision by how much you value each. |
