I don't like this world where every social interaction could have drastic, long-lasting effects on my reputation. Where every employee's word/deed is taken as a company action, unless otherwise specified.

I'm human, and I'm fallible. I will make, or have already made, a bad decision that someone else will be able to hold over me for the rest of my life.

People need to be allowed to make mistakes so they can learn from them. Not be crucified to make an example for others.

Good for him for apologizing. I don't envy his position. It's lonely at the top.
