It seems inconceivable that, with random combinations of biochemistry and no "layers of abstraction", that anyone survives. Spaghetti code generated at random always fails, period. I imagine "layers of abstraction" may not exist, but common nodes of behavior, clusters of biochemical solutions bound by genetics, MUST exist or we would all be still born. |
