I think the real difference is much more pronounced than what your analysis suggests.
A significant fraction of people without college-level education aren't able to pass the non-financial admission requirements, or drop out. Which almost certainly means that earnings of those who could easily finish but decide not to are going to be much higher, making the decision to not go even better. Sadly, I don't think any relevant statistics exist. |
