+1. I used Crashplan for 3 years on a Synology NAS. It's a disaster. Every time there was a Synology upgrade, the CP headless server would stop working, and you'd need to reinstall, re-set the keys, etc. After 10 ou 15 times doing this, I got rid of Crashplan entirely, migrated my backups to Amazon Drive, and never looked back. Given the lack of decent options, seems the best choice will really be to pony up the $180 for 3TB that Amazon will start charging next year... |
