The only time I notice my surroundings is when 1) they intrude upon my coding, or 2) when I'm not coding (or thinking about code). Problem 1 is why I personally dislike open offices, and 2 is usually a consequence of meetings or boredom with the current problem. I'd rather be working on something interesting than be comforted by my surroundings because of boredom... |
