Seems somewhat accurate. I grew up in the East bay, been robbed twice (both at knife) off the Fruitvale, West Oakland stops in high school. Bay Area was much different 10-15 years ago, you wouldn't see random people walking their dogs and drinking a lattee in Oakland (and some parts of SF) back then. I used to be scared to walk through the Mission, now its just so much different. |
