Except, their AI is simultaneously too stupid to preempt problems like the story we had with the Firebase customer. To generalize this a bit more, their AI is certainly too stupid to preempt similar problems with over-billing in general (though you can certainly create a little conspiracy around that one). And then to generalize even one layer higher, their AI is also too stupid to identify candidates who might get frustrated with their customer support and turn to the HN bully pulpit. And lastly, come on, they can't even predict the election winner! Otherwise why would they throw their weight behind the losing candidate? :-)
