Hi, i am sorry to hear your experience have been as it is thusfar. We are hard at work improving the product constantly. We though have to prioritise ;)

It seems description on 32399 could be misleading. I didn't mean diff-between-two-comments, but in-response-to-a-comment. Gerrit enables this by showing comments in-line even when we view diff between two MR uploads.

On the left I see the old MR and my comments on that upload and on the right I see the new diff around the commented lines.
