I love using the original GLO maps from 1800s, you can find some fascinating long forgotten things on them. I enjoy a good map nerd session myself.

Oh, those look awesome! I haven't looked into them, but I do love current BLM maps (I've lived in an RV for ~6 of the past 8 years, so I've spent quite a lot of time roaming BLM and national forest land).
