Yeah, parts of that advice sound very questionable. Making non-payment more costly for them than payment might be reasonable advice, but slandering them and harassing their family can end up a lot more costly for you. If you want to play this hard, threatening them with a lawsuit and bankruptcy is probably the most painful thing you can do. |
