It always bothered me a lot too, but I was "lucky" to encounter a rather niche Chromium bug last year, so now I have it covered. Generally, when you actively work on weird bugs and try to really understand what's going on, instead of doing quick hacky workaround, sooner or later you'll face some interesting bug. But it's sometimes exhausting to investigate stuff like that, plus most of the reasonable managers will try to prevent you from going down the rabbit hole if the bug takes too long to fix. |
