agreed. I think the right way to do this is move all the way to the driver's window and adjust that mirror so that it just barely sees the side of the car on one side. Then move to the center of the car and do the same for the passenger side mirror. You'd be the normal distance from the dashboard in both cases. I think State Farm sent me that tip once. It makes it very easy to set mirrors up when you're in a strange car. And you verify by making sure that objects leaving one mirror enter the next one. |
