But this idea feels a lot like "Market Penetration" as defined in the context of the Ansoff Matrix (introduced in 1957): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ansoff_Matrix It's Marketing 101 stuff, and lots of big corporations, in old industries, employ this approach. |
