Contested environments do not make the A-10 useless. In a "real" war, you expect to lose lots of people. Right now we are fussy, but think back to the world wars. People were dying left and right, and we accepted it as the cost of winning. Literally millions of people died. The A-10 also happens to fly just fine with large chunks missing. |
